Craft Village UK work directly with craftspeople in poor countries, developing sustainable, copyright protected, animation-inspired products.

We believe the popularity of famous cartoons can be harnessed to improve the working and living conditions of African artisans and their families.

To date our acclaimed 'Simpsons Statues' have been well received by Simpsons fans in over 15 different countries! 

We're proud to supply Simpsons fans with high quality art, whilst having a positive impact in Kenya!

Income distribution

Approximately:

25% of Income goes to Kenya:  Production- Quarry workers, Carvers, Womens Co-ops, Quality checks, Local packing & dispatch, etc 

20% goes to Craft Village UK:  Wages, UK overheads & running costs, rents, light, heat, rates, phone, internet, etc.   

25% is allocated to general overheads:   Liability Insurance, Bank fee's, accountancy, lawyers, website hosting, taxes, etc

30% is allocated to cost of sales:  Paypal fee's, Bespoke packaging: booklets, shipping from rural Africa, Import costs, Customs costs, local storage, domestic handling & delivery, etc 

This is a sustainable business project.  Craft Village UK are a proud member of The World Fair Trade Organisation.  We operate within the guidelines & ethics of Fair trade.
